Ants.

The Origin of Ants is a story that has a moral and also gives an explanation to how ants were formed. The story itself is a folktale, but it has the underlying message of honesty. It is saying that if you consistently lie, it will ultimately backfire. The man in the story lied, which got him the things that he wanted: i. e. his dinner, and a spot in government, but it led to his death. The story also tired to explain why ants are so attracted to food. I enjoyed the story, and it was interesting to see how cultures explain natural events. I would like to compare this story to another culture's ant origin story to see how they are similar and different.
