Intelligence is a Seesaw

Intelligence is a seesaw. I believe this because there has to be a balance between intelligence and instinct. Both play hand in hand.Without the knowledge and intelligence instilled into our minds whether it be parents, friends, or teachers, we would not be able to know what to do and how to do it; therefore we would not have the instinct to do what is right or what is wrong. There is positive knowledge and negative knowledge, and both are important to the growth of out intelligence. We are taught what to do (positive) and what not to do (negative). With these things we can then discern and decide on the matter of what should be done. If the world only embraced intelligence and not also instinct, then it would be subject to no emotion and only intelligence based advancement, and vice versa. There is no intelligence without instinct and there is no instinct without intelligence.
